Hey guys..Well...it's been a few minutes, hasn't it?
I feel like all I ever do is write catch up blogs after long droughts of posts. Last time, I was so determined to keep posting, keep going...but then I fizzled out. To be fair, I have focused my laser beams mainly toward the shows that I have been writing with Matt.
I have had the honor to be at Ford's Theatre since early February, STEPHEN GREGORY SMITHhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02235135709833118232noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15623281.post-10418870642658477442015-02-11T17:24:00.001-05:002015-02-11T17:24:47.328-05:00The Turn of the Screw! Before I was ever a part of the Washington, DC Theatre community, I was an audience member, and one of it's biggest fans.
I first saw Dana Krueger in The Women at Arena Stage in January of 1999. It's the day of the big game!!!
Is everybody ready to eat three times the amount of food that you normally would in one evening, scream at the television louder than you ever would, and drink until you are ready to vomit?
Yeah, me neither.
I don't really have anything invested in either team, so what will I be watching on this gorgeous Sunday evening?
Of course.

Good morning, Ecuador!
I have to share something with you that is driving me insane.
Back in August, Buddha was diagnosed with Spinal Ataxia, a degenerative disk disease that is causing what they call "drunken walking" in his back legs. Instead of going ahead with a spinal surgery, which I refused to put my 11 year old best friend through, I did some research to find alternative treatments. Hey readers! (all 3 of you, inexplicably from Ecuador) I know, I know, I know. I mean...I KNOW. I never write on here anymore. I get it. I want to, but...you know...Buddha suddenly hits my leg and demands luvins, and I can't focus. Or the phone will ring, and suddenly I am engaged in a conversation about the latest howling puppy video I saw on facebook (the eater of time, the eater of STEPHEN GREGORY SMITHhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02235135709833118232noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15623281.post-80100863836922032492013-09-11T13:52:00.000-05:002013-09-11T13:52:05.239-05:00Catch Up Blog #2After not that much sleep, it was the morning of June 10th! Thanks for stopping by my little place in cyberspace. I haven't updated in awhile because I got married, and then went into rehearsals for a show.
I will be catching anyone who cares up in my catch up posts (see catch up #1 below) - a sort of serial style version of what happened at the wedding, and since (so I don't have to write it all in one post). But in the meantime, weSTEPHEN GREGORY SMITHhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02235135709833118232noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15623281.post-83018203638661074912013-08-24T16:58:00.000-05:002013-08-24T16:58:29.671-05:00Catch Up Blog post #1Well, it would have been easy to blog during the Tropical storm if the internet signal stayed consistent for more than a few minutes. So I didn't. Also, a few things fell through with people performing in the wedding, and I was too busy trying to fix that, while hundreds of miles away, on an island, with poor signal, in the middle of a Tropical Storm.
So that happened.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day of full sun, so we all took advantage of it. There was no blogging to be done yesterday at Besito. Only beach fun, pool time, and soaking up the sun. Like...whoa. It's been four months since I have been on
here. Why? That's an easy one...wedding planning.
Yes, my last entry was in February, which was the month that
Matthew and I picked our theme, and hit the ground running, building a carnival
out of things found around our house. All of that is finally done, and we are 6

So the great grey beast of February limps along here in Smith-Conner land. Is it Spring yet? By the look at the outside temperature right now, I'm guessing not. Working outdoors this Winter has really taken it's toll on me. I am more than ready for warm weather to return before my skin starts to crack apart.

"The great grey beast February had eaten Harvey Swick alive. Here he was, buried in the belly of that smothering month, wondering if he would ever find his way out through the cold coils that lay between here and Easter...It was a monstrous month, that was for sure; a dire and dreary month. 2012 was a blessing, filling my schedule with many different theatrical adventures, all of which I was lucky to be a part of.
