and that jazz....

I have not watched the film version of Chicago in several years, and I caught it on TV the other day, or at least part of it. It made me remember what an AMAZING film it is, but especially how brilliant the opening is. Here for your viewing pleasure is that scene...

Amazing it was!! Not much of a movie person, but I happened to have my TV on (not much of a TV person either since I prefer live theatre), and I was yapping on the phone. Anyway, I was on the Bravo channel, and that's where I first saw it. I tried watching it and talking on the phone, but I could see it was so damn good I got rid of the person on the phone and watched it. They were doing the movie back to back, and I watched it the second time, and several times after that on Bravo. I saw it again not too long ago on commercial TV. That sucked with the interruptions and all. But it is just one of the most amazing pieces I've seen. Not surprised I haven't stalked Amazon for the DVD.:D Geez was I hooked or what!!??
