Eleasha got a great gig. Doing Dionne in Hair....at the Perserverance Theatre in...ALASKA!!! She leaves next week for 9 weeks...*sigh* I told her...I ain't writin another cabaret about this. :) To quote Take Me Out, "What will we do till Spring??"
She'll be in good company in Alaska . . .David Charles Goyette who is directing The Story over at the African Continuum is Director of Education at Perseverance. Funny, someone just told David that the brother of someone he knows is going to be in Hair.
Hi back atcha, Eleasha. Philly was fine - I was in Old City (as opposes Center City last winter) so I got to explore a different part of town.
I loved doing "The Dinosaur Musical" and Willie and Rob Reale are the bee's knees as far as I'm concerned. I wasn't too crazy about the out-of-town actors' housing - it's a group house that the Arden recently acquired and they're still working the bugs out. And I think I'm just too damn old to live in a group house - particularly on the fourth floor.
You have to keep us posted on your Alaska trip - Alaska is both bizarre and beautiful and I think you'll have a lot to talk about. Perhaps a blog????
