I don't know how this slipped my mind, but I meant to write about it earlier in the week...
Dan Cooney, whose powerhouse performance in Nevermore at Signature Theatre still burns strong in my memory, will be performing his cabaret act there this weekend.
The performances are tonight at 7PM and 9PM, and Saturday at 7PM and 9PM.
The man's vocals are VERY strong, and it should prove to be a great night of song from the former Mr. Poe.
How funny...Poe will be back singing at Signature, and just across the creek, the Whore from Nevermore (Amy McWilliams) will be singing at Extra Virgin. Makes me chuckle.
