...just got off the phone with Mom, who informed me that my Daddy is having, yes, despite the pitfalls of his health last week, a green beer. He took green food coloring and added it to his Miller High Life. He is also watching his our family's traditional film of this day, The Quiet Man.
It's a nice mental image, honestly.

What are me and Matty doing? Avoiding all of the rebel-rousers safely at home. I just finished grilling out for the first time this season. (Lovely Bubba-burgers with bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce), and am toasting the day with my beverage of choice, Yuengling Lager. All is well with the world.
